EMF Meter Free Utility for iPod, iPhone App Reviews

The app functions well, but that doesnt make up for everything that is wrong with it. It is constantly asking you to let it use your map location (why?), upgrade to pro, or leave a 5 star rating on the App Store, even if youve already left a rating. Other than that, the app crashes every third time you try and start it, and it only runs for a little over a minute before it crashes anyway. The meter function works, but it isnt worth the miles of red tape you have to cut through just to get a good reading. I am so glad I didnt pay for this. If I did, I would be very, very upset.

When I know Im getting nuked (I can feel it) I open this up and it will be in the 200-300 range... which is probably accurate. Then after a few seconds it resets to a much lower number. Im of those that is sensitive to this phenomena and can feel it physically.

Its ok it picks up a lot of thing.

This app will detect a magnetic field (though I dont recommend allowing magnets too close to your iPhone), but is incapable of detecting an electro-magnetic field. It also reacts to movement of your iPhone. Im sure the iPhone doesnt have the necessary circuitry to measure EM fields. Ill give it one star because it was free.

Works fine specially a free app.

I use this app on a regular basis, and find it in fact does read EMF! While not as sensitive as a professional unit, it comes very close to th calibrated units I use on the job, and in the field seems to bemore reliable and repeatable than most.

Its cool, but I cant see where and how it measures EMF.

Not very useful other than something that checks for variances in level.

When you try to put it up to a magnet it goes crazy

Logging and email functionality does not work.

Wish could get money back from it!

That is, if you know why you would need it.

I like this app it reads emf when there is a cold spot and the dogs are acting funny.

Great free app. It measures spatial fields of emf & when you move your iPhone you can locate the source.

I used this in the field for a job and it worked great.
